  Last summer was a tremendous family week at Oak Point. The cabin (Osprey) was just what we needed to get keep us comfortable but also to allow us to get out and about on the St. Lawrence River quickly. The kids loved river baths in the morning and it was great sharing evening meals with our other cabin families. On the way home to Massachusetts I asked if they wanted to do this again. Thumbs up from everyone, even the teenage daughter!

  Thank you Lisa! The Lodges at Oak Point provided us the best family vacation in the last decade. The location on the St Lawrence River is absolutely fabulous. The accommodations and multiple lodges were perfect in every way for parents, kids and extended families... The dock and backyard provide for great gatherings from early morning coffee to picnic lunches and evening dinners. We'll definitely do this again. All the Best from the Texas Beckers

  I live in NYC and rented one of these cabins this past August with my son, my friend and her daughter, we stopped for a few days to break up our trip on our way up to Canada. First, the cabin was new with a lovely screed in porch, it was also bigger than we thought, we could have brought along a few friends with us. The kids loved it, they met so many other children whose families have summer homes on this secluded point. The kids played all day long outside, frog hunting, kayaking, jumping off docks! This is a great place for a family reunion or just a short summer get away. It was a definite find for us.

  This is one of the best places I have stayed in the north east region. I went there for a two night vacation with my family and I am still regretting for not staying another night. This place can easily accommodate 8 people. It was very clean and well maintained.. The front view is breathtaking. Lisa is a great person and she will do everything to make sure you are comfortable. She let us use her boat and the campfire. Although we did outings to Boldt Castle, Alexandria Bay and Watertown, everyone really seemed to enjoy just hanging around Oak Point. There are lots of activities nearby so if you wanted more to do than use the river for boating, fishing and swimming, you could go golfing, horse back riding, visit the castles nearby on the islands, and attend lots of arts and craft events. I would definitely stay there again the next time I visit Thousand Islands. I would encourage vacationers who are looking for a month or a whole summer to give The Lodges a good close look. I highly recommend it.
